It's a Girl!
December 2007
Stephen and Sylvia are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Rowan Copinger, on 9th December 2007. Mother and baby both doing well.
Maternity Absence
November 2007
Sylvia MacLennan will be absent from the office throughout December on maternity leave. Ongoing cases will be dealt with by her paralegal Di Sutherland, and locum solicitor Leanna Devlin.
New Staff
September 2007
Robert Macgregor has joined us as Administrative Assistant following a successful trail period of holiday employment.
County Show
July 2007
We again had a stand at the Caithness County Show at Wick on 21st July. Visitors were treated to a small refreshment and some chat, and able to help them selves to our various advice leaflets. We also had cotton shopping bags, featuring our logo and contact details, available for a donation to our selected local charity, Caithness & Sutherland Womens Aid.
Office Outing
June 2007
Our office outing this year was a day to Nairnshire, including Cawdor Castle and Brodies Countryfare. Despite the wet weather, a good time was had by all.
Staff Changes
March 2007
We are sorry to advise that our Office Manager, Karen Boyle, has decided to leave us in a move to the Western Isles. We wish her and her family all the best in Na h-Eileanan Siar !
However, Ruth Swan has been promoted from Administrative Assistant to Secretary and Property Assistant. We have also a new member of Staff, Morven Coghill, who is starting off as a new Administrative Assistant.
Careers Convention
March 2007
We are attending the Caithness Careers Convention at Thurso High School on 7th March 2007, to provide information to anyone considering a career in the Legal Profession, either as Solicitor or support staff.
